Believe in “me”

This live is kind of unfair, you have tried your best but it gives you nothing. Meanwhile when you look at your friend they easily get what they want. Although you have sweat of blood and tears to reach your dream it still doesn’t work.

Do you remember when everything on you were knock down, such as you got C, D or even E for your paper. You got broken heart because he or she look for the other, your pocket getting lighter, people talk about you, saying the bad side of you. More than that when you thought you can’t reach your dream and people said so.

When looking at yourself you only found; there is no potential in me, nothing interesting nor special in me, I’m not that smart and good looking, thought my parents are don’t care. Hoping I’m not exist in this world, perhaps I could reborn as somebody else or at least there is a miracle happen to me. Day by day having the same thing and you pretend to be ok, your lips are smiling but you are not really smile, sad and sadder that’s what you feel.

You got a lot of tears and this is the time to sweep your tears. Many people said live is like rollercoaster keeping goes up and down, moreover sometimes it feels never goes up. Is that what you thinking about? Yes that’s not as simple as that.

Now look at yourself, you have work well. Let’s say thank to yourself even a little, try to appreciate yourself so you can feel better. When you keep trying, you put your effort for something that you really want, means you belief that you will get what you want. Try to remember, is there anything that you really want, that you dream of?, and you still hoping that someday you will get that one?. Here you have belief on yourself.

“Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe.” –Mark Victor Hansen”

According to Merriam Webster dictionary belief means a feeling of being sure that someone or something exists or that something is true. Belief is something that you hold on and never forget. Belief will help you to reach you dream or to get what you want. Why? Because belief stays still in your heart and mind, drives you into a work to achieve it with a bunch of motivation. For sure you have heard a lot about motivation, that’s stick together with belief and motivate you do something willingly, without any pressure.

Let’s take a self reflection, do you remember the time when you feel you really happy because your hard work gives the answer that you expected. What kind of thing that makes you keep working?, and how you work on that is there any motivation when you work? Yes, motivation was there. No more agree that motivation has accompanied you to achieve that and for sure motivation is always with us, it’s among us and within us. Motivation is really powerful for achieving our goals in this life but motivation only exists when there is a belief in ourselves.

Lets plant on your self “belief”. As stated by Brian Kim in Trans4mind-The Personal Development “It’s not enough to just say “Oh, just believe and it will happen.” I think the reason why people have a hard time believing is because we’ve never done it. What I mean by that is we never really formed our own beliefs”. Therefore keep believing and work hard.

Now, new day has come let’s set your goals and dreams. Planting belief in yourself and keep work hard to achieve those things. Forget about the past, past is just a past. What we can do with past is only taking a bunch of life lesson.

As a teacher do you remember where you face students that are lack in belief? What did you do?

In educational field, when students are demotivated and do not doing well in their learning it means they lack in belief. In case teacher should replant belief in students’ self. There are my ways to plant belief within students such as give feedback, encouragement, compliment and so forth. More that than in an extreme case when there is a students who get depressed, teacher can communicate and encourage them privately. Hence the talk about teacher as a second parent it could be true because teacher should get along with students looking their heart and help them to be a good human being. Be careful on using words to students, especially depressed students because commonly they are very sensitive (hurt already pin on them). There are some steps that suggested such as;

First make the students happy or getting lighter. There are many ways to done it, the important thing is make the students forget about their burden.

Second help them to look at their potential, on something that they good at. Then guide them to walk or to do something based on their potential.

Third, keep telling the students to appreciate their work and their self for done the works well. It is needed in order to plan belief within the students and shows them some evidence that they could done something well.

Fourth, this can be done anytime. Make your students are fair in class there is no students that dominate or expelled. Guidance is very important for students who have difficulties, here the role of other students also important. Hence group work will be useful, the smarter students could help their friend, more than that it will make their social skill and their confidence in social increased. As a result the term “look down” can decreased.

Edge words; Belief by Brian Kim Is it really that hard to swallow? If Edison did not really believe he could invent the light bulb, we would have nothing to do but sleep when the sun set. If Graham didn’t really believe he could invent the telephone, we wouldn’t have our precious cell phones today. If Lance Armstrong didn’t really believe that he could fight testicular cancer and win, we would not have the inspiration he provides today. If Ghandi didn’t really believe he could bring peace without fighting, who knows what the world would be like today?

Belief and motivation is like the rising sun

Quote: “Most of us are not raised to actively encounter our destiny. We may not know that we have one. As children, we are seldom told we have a place in life that is uniquely ours alone. Instead, we are encouraged to believe that our life should somehow fulfill the expectations of others, that we will (or should) find our satisfactions as they have found theirs. Rather than being taugh to ask ourselves who we are, we are schooled to ask others. We are, in effect, trained to listen to others’ versions of ourselves. We are brought up in our life as told to us by someone else! When we survey our lives, seeking to fulfill our creativity, we often see we had a dream that went glimmering because we believed, and those around us believed, that the dream was beyond our reach. Many of us would have been, or at least might have been, done, tried something, if…

If we had known who we really were.”
